Big news for the Bronco community! @Turn Offroad has their new portal hub system on display at SEMA this week, giving everyone the first real look at what’s coming. The setup is expected to come in around the $12,000 price point and will allow fitment of tires up to 44 inches tall. Turn is aiming to open pre-orders by the end of this year, with a backup timeline of mid-Q1 2026 if things take a little longer to finalize.
For those not familiar, portal suspension is one of the most effective ways to gain serious ground clearance without sacrificing suspension geometry or drivetrain reliability. Instead of using taller springs or longer control arms, portals achieve lift by using geared hubs at each wheel. This design moves the axle centerline higher relative to the wheel, increasing clearance under the diffs while keeping everything else in its optimal range. It also introduces gear reduction at the hub, which reduces drivetrain strain and helps the vehicle crawl more efficiently off-road. The end result is more clearance, better performance, and improved component longevity. All while maintaining proper handling and ride quality.
If you’re at SEMA, make sure to swing by the Turn Offroad booth and check them out in person. These portals could easily become one of the most exciting upgrades available for Bronco owners heading into 2026!
