It’s just a software update. I figured there would be one coming as I’ve had the glitch where the tach loses its dial and numbers. Apparently the tach issue is pretty common in 2025 Bronco and Bronco Sports but I didn’t realize other parts of the display were disappearing as well.

The recall seems legit but why does your link go to a phishing scam? I ain't got no IT department.

Probably a stupid question but any issues with going in for recalls like this if you've used Forescan to add sport mode?

Usually, no. Especially if the module being updated is not the module you modified. In this case, they're talking about the IPC module, while adding Sport mode is done in the ABS module.

But for added safety, I personally revert all of my modules back to stock, let them do the update, and then change it back once they return. Reduces confusion when they look at everything in FDRS (the dealer software).

I just noticed this right before seeing this post. I wonder if it’s related. I did notice a glitch here and there. Maybe one day they’ll add numerals to the gauges and speedometer increments.

I saved my As Built…but what’s the process for saving your Custom Built, reverting to As Built and then reloading Custom Built when you get it back without having to modify each individual module again?

It's disappointing to see stuff like this because it's software I never even wanted. Bronco is a retro themed vehicle. I would have *loved* it if there was the option for a double DIN old school radio in the dash and no screens at all.

Sweet, finally a recall that my 2021 Base won't get!!! 😁

Suckers! How's that digital dash working out for you now? :ROFLMAO: Just never mind that I probably have a loose bolt in my seat that may or may not send me flying at any moment now, but at least I'll know how fast I'm going when it does let loose!

Curious that the update will resolve the recall. But for those that have swapped the cluster on older model year Broncos, I presume won't get the update. Ford would have no idea that a swap was done as they go by the As Built profile.

I was thinking about that…you’d have to use FDRS and perform the update manually?
