Tincup Pass Trail Ride Video (Super Cel West)!

Hey everyone,

Well, this video was a journey to create, but I'm really excited to finally share it. My Tincup Pass trail ride from the Super Celebration is now live on YouTube.

Honestly, the reason this one took so long is that I've been trying to piece it together while overlanding, balancing a full-time job, and getting hit with delays from the recent winter storms. It was definitely a challenging project to finish on the road. The final hurdle was just getting the massive 4K file uploaded while being off-grid, but it's finally done!

My main goal with this was to really capture what it feels like to be on that trail, especially for anyone who hasn't had the chance yet, or was curious about what to expect.

I'd genuinely love to hear what you all think. Now that this one is wrapped up, next in the queue is my footage from Yansing Gulch, with the Mt. Antero video to follow after that.

Great video. I need to give a shoutout to the CORE guys out of BV for the trail maintenance they did
assembling the corduroy trail bridge you drove over. They also put up markers around Mirror Lake so everyone knows where the edge of the trail is when the water is high early in the summer season. Go to their website for all the trails that they've adopted in the area.

Pie?!? Justin neglected to mention that very important detail once we reached Tincup!
Oh darn! Looks like I'll have to drive this pass again! It's worth it.

Oh!! So that's what that place was. I believe we passed it on the way out of town. In the final moments of my video, in the video box that's playing on the right side of the screen, our trail guide/leader calls out that there's a lot of fish in that pond just after we passed it. It was on the right side, just before the "Welcome to Tincup" sign, right?

Yes. On the several times I have done Tincup Pass we usually arrive in Tincup City around lunch time. Some eat at the restaurant (Frenchy's - thanks I forgot the name) but they also have an outdoor picnic area next to the pond. They let those of us who packed lunches eat there - most of us will then get a piece of pie to support the restaurant.
