Bronco sales rise 27.6% in February 2026 (12,533 units sold)

Bronco sales were up 27.6% in February 2026 compared to February of last year. The February 2026 sales and production numbers were:

12,533 Broncos sold
15,654 Broncos produced

That’s impressive, quite the bump upward.
Not a surprise on the negative EV percentage.

I would have assumed the little Bronco Sport would have performed better being about half the price of the Bronco, and majority of Broncos will primarily be street usage.

Disappointing Super Duties are declined, although that should climb over the year.

I was aware of the fire and aluminum shortage. I thought they dropped the Lightening to dedicate the aluminum to the SD’s.

Agree, they’ll come back up. Best truck made in my opinion, really like my F450… and I’m an old GM guy!

That explains the large number of Broncos that have appeared in one of the usual parking lots in Michigan where new "problem child" vehicles have traditionally been stored until their issue is resolved.

I suspected something was up upon seeing them there.....

Back in '24 there were F150's everywhere they had room.

This also complicates my Bronco search a tad.......

Double *whew* since mine was inside the practice window by a week.

No issues in the first week...but I guess they can do whatever is needed when it's in for hitch install...that still needs to be done since it was too late in the day of pickup...

Yeah, sales are going to take a hit when dealerships can't sell them. Anyone that took delivery before today, they got it just in time. With this advance notice coming out on the recall regarding the stop sale, Broncos will sit until the issue is resolved.

Might want to check with your dealer to see about executing a sale so you don't lose the incentive. They just can't allow delivery until it is resolved. The notice indicates that at the end of the month new vehicles are expected to have a software update. Though, I expect that goal to be moved.

I did my part with a 2/13 delivery. Jeep keeps making crap Ford will sell more. I had to lemon law my wrangler because the whole infotainment system would reboot while driving and then not work. Even if you get through the electrical issue the corrosion issues that happen right after 4-5 years are rough. I love my Bronco so far.

Yeah, I was thinking of calling one today to see what they say about their ability to sell one.

However..... I am loathe to purchase a vehicle that I ultimately have no idea when I would even be able to take it home.....As you said, I would not be surprised to see the goalposts moved on those dates.

Especially after watching the F150 debacle for months back in 2024. Coincidentally, the same time as I was looking for an F150.

Hmmmm......stop sale on F150's right when I was looking, and now a stop delivery on Broncos right when I am looking.....
