2 Door Rock Light Placement Question

Having some rock lights installed next week and the kit comes with 8 lights.
The instructions suggest 2 per wheel well.
My question is would it be better to put one per wheel well and one front/rear and each side?
Most videos I see are 4 door and the one video of a 2 door the guy had 6 lights.
Any input is appreciated.

Depends on where you want the light coverage.. search google for images to get some ideas what you prefer. I like full coverage lighting that lights up the whole ground area under the vehicle.

I ended up doing one in the front, one in each wheel well, two in the middle and one in the back on each side. Almost complete coverage except a small diamond caused by the front bash plate.

I ended up putting in blue covers cuz fast and furious. But I have to switch back because I moved to ID and they don't allow blue lights.

Where did you mount the front one?

Front one is mounted with a magnet to the crash bar. the side ones are magnet mounted to the frame.
