2 door Trektop installed & ready for summer

Love the 2door Trektop, easy install. Heavy rain the last few days at highway speed and no leaks.

How would you compare cabin noise at highway speed on the trek top as compared to the MIC top

We did several pre and post decibel readings with a iPhone. Average 74bd @70mph MIC(with sound dampening) . And 76bd @70mph Trektop.
the difference is the type of sound
the MIC is higher pitch and the trektop is a lower Rumble.

I’m 50 my wife is in her 40s and our daughter is 10. We all dont hear a difference in sound levels.

the only noticeable difference is at stop lights we can hear more external noises like other cars and birds.

Easy about 3 hours. Make sure you have someone help lifting the top in place.

According to Bestop they do, but I didn’t see a percentage. Someone on here should get them metered.

I re-installed my 2 dr Trektop a few weekends ago and the good news is the second time around is much easier. Took me around an hour 15 mins (not counting removing the hardtop). Had some help from my son for the hardtop removal and putting the soft top in place.

There are a few bolts that were extremely difficult to access when I removed it last year - they were just as difficult to access when I re-installed resulting in stripping. Going to be a total pain in the a.s to remove but I guess I’ll worry about that in November.

Got this answered by the Bestop team - yes the Trektop Slantback comes pre-tinted and it’s at 18%.
