Awesome, it’s worth the wait! Hope you get to stockpile a ton of gear while you wait.

UPDATE 11
Started work on creating my own slide-out tailgate. Being a MY21 and a 2 Dr owner I was pissed this cool feature was delayed, then only available for four door rigs. So with a pocket full of dreams, this picture, and some spare wood. I’m venturing into the unknown to make one I can use to sit on if I’m making coffee on my tailgate table around the camp site, or even stand on for cool views while topless. Wish me luck

Looking forward to seeing how this turns out. I have been toying with the idea of a couple of different platforms, a simple false floor that provides some storage and a level surface with the seats down, and then another slide out platform for when I pull the seats out.

I like the idea of it doubling as a leveler back there. I’ll need to measure the heights again to make sure the 1/2”. thick topper sits flush where we are imagining. Thanks for that.

I am really interested in seeing how this turns out also. Will you make an access panel to get to the bins under the floor?

Damn good question, and I am now working to implement this into my design. There will absolutely need to be a way to access the goodies under the floor, all without lifting an access door into the custom tailgate within the enclosure. I wonder if making the top half of the enclosure lift completely on a hinge, with the tailgate, to reveal the sub floor and door could work?

Build my frame around the perimeter of the cargo enclosure and use that to bolt into the lasso points to secure it as a base. Then build a separate structure with the rails and custom tailgate that lifts up as well as pulls out… Ideas are buzzing, thanks for this.

There was another on here that I saw. It was basically a flip up for the top and to access the bins you had to have the table all the way out. I’ll look around and see if I can find it. It was slick.
