I love sitting down in a chair and popping open a cold one. :)
It'd be a shame if they somehow were to hurl themselves at you AND spill your beer.....

I'm thinking Monday or Tuesday.

Why, you may ask?
Well, Monday is the last day of August and we were told it would be out before September.
ALSO, they sent the survey out this past Tuesday and that will have been one week until September 1st.

That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it.

I have to imagine that between the learnings from glitches/inconsistencies like that in the Bronco Sport configurator and the intensifying pressure and scrutiny they are receiving from the enthusiast community, the internal design/dev team has had to tell the gung-ho marketing team.... "Sorry guys, we are going to have to push this back another week".... more than once.

Speaking from experience (on the design/dev side).... Sales/Marketing/PR teams often make public promises that don't perfectly align with the realities of what they tasked the developers to deliver.

It's far too common when dealing with complex visual configurators that have to tie into evolving pricing and parts databases that - When you fix one thing, you break 5 other things.

Having so many trim levels to deal with just adds to the complexity. Not to mention, they are trying to manage 3D animators to re-render updated parts that look muddy and used, in every variation of color.

My final takeaway is this...

The marketing team likely felt pressure to make arbitrary B&P delivery promises to appease the eager press and consumers without having honest conversations with the developers.

I put the blame on them. Not the development team who is trying to put out a polished and working B&P that won't get skewered by the press and Bronco community for being glitchy or half-assed.

I’m just being honest. There’s no way im reading all of that
