2021 Bronco Build & Price pre-launch waiting room

Not to rain on the parade... but I'm strongly considering the new '21 F-150 with Powerboost (3.5TT-hybrid), so member of Gen14 forum and keeping pace with slow drip of information on new F-150. Right now, and for the past couple weeks, you can place an official order into the build planner through a Ford dealership. Yet the Ford vehicles site still does not have a Configurator up for the new F-150. That seems crazy but its true!

Believe me, I hope the Bronco configurator activates yesterday... but if this is how Ford is handling the roll-out of a whole new gen of their best-selling, most profitable vehicle lineup (orders placed ahead of public configurator up & running), then it could be a long, long wait for the Bronco one.

The order guide is up. You can see that on Blue Oval Forums. I like the look of the 21 F-150, but it's a little more $$ than I want to spend. I'm thinking the Limited 4x2 with just the regular 3.5 will sticker for at least $72k.

This is what happens when people make assumptions and repeat what others think is correct. A bunch of drama for nothing.

September - Build & Price
October - Last opportunity to change dealers (and only once)
December - Place your order

Keep it simple y'all and enjoy this process. When your shiny, new Bronco is in your garage for the first time, you will have a good laugh at the previous year. And by then the COVID-19 pandemic should be in our rear-view mirror.

I was able to get the build and price to open for a good 3 seconds before sending me back to the show room. Gonna play with it a bit and see if I can make it work.

The images that load for 1.5 seconds are from the https://www.ford.com/suvs/bronco/2021/models/bronco-black-diamond/ page. the /#bp redirects from that page. It used to take you straight to the shop.ford.com showroom, but now you will see a URL like https://shop.ford.com/showroom/?lin...fig[|Ford|Bronco|2021|1|1.|101A.E5A.....RET.] or some of the | will be replaced with percentage signs before the redirect to the showroom. This new URL mirrors URLs seen while in the Build & Price tool for other models. That is the new development.
