Long time lurker here finally made an account. I’m super excited for the build and price to come but have been thinking lately about whether or not I’m better off waiting for the 2022 model. With how little time will most likely be between the model years will the 2022 model have any upgrades or more of the same. I was really hoping for a hybrid bronco but haven’t heard if that’s in the works either.
The way Ford works, subsequent model years CAN have LESS to offer than previous years...
The Escape is a good example of this... Probably to help keep price competitive, they start taking away small stuff.
The Bronc probably won't be subjected to this, I hope!

New exterior colors. I think the base 2 door price will increase $2000-$3000.

The manual transmission for the 2.3 is designed by a German company who is now owned by a Canadian company. It does not make sense for fords to offer a manual transmission for the 2.7 unless they offered it on other vehicles without a crawl gear.
