Just wanted to share this information with anyone interested in adding LED Halos to their Ford Bronco.

I've been researching the most reliable halos on the market to install into my headlight housing. I don't want to be opening and having to correct issues from products failing years past from other "reputable" brands (tired of pulling my hair out correcting failures)...

The best option on the market after speaking with several reputable retrofitting specialists is the Diode Dynamics HD Halos. These halos are truly the benchmark in reliable halos after speaking with several dealers for them and even the company themselves.

Overall, when opening headlights cutting corners isn't one you want to cheap out on... I've learned the hard way in years past... as stated before.

Diode Dynamics statement,

"Engineered from the ground-up to be the brightest, most reliable LED halos physically possible, our HD LED Halos are considered the industry standard for headlight and tail light customization. Unlike cheaper generic LED halos from China, our HD LED Halos are 100% designed, tested, and built right here in St. Louis. Each one is populated with a large number of high-density LEDs and then coated with a diffusing gel. The result is perfectly uniform light output, and a clean, OEM-like appearance when off"

Note: I requested proof of "USA" made and received these images of their team using an SMT machine known as their pick-n-place. They also noted a patented diffusion gel added to their halos.

Off topic a bit but Why are these aftermarket companies not including heating elements to melt snow and Ice? That would be a great combo and would be another reason to upgrade.

Awesome thread! Thanks for sharing this information.

Most users think LEDs don't generate heat but they do if they're a premium option on the market using high-quality components.

Our products along with a few other top-tier options are able to melt snow and ice and include heat sink for warmer months to regulate the temperature.

For example, our SS3 LED pods come in 3 power levels.

Our SS3 Sport can't melt snow and ice but our SS3 Pro and Max are able to generate heat in cold climates to clear the lens from any build-up.

If you're referring to LED bulbs for low beams and high beams, we don't offer plug-and-play LED bulbs for headlamps due to DOT laws and regulations.

We do understand LED bulbs don't generate heat in headlamps and often users resort back to traditional halogen bulbs for the heat generated for safe driving in inclement weather.

We hope this information is helpful!
