Hmmmm, seems priority is being focused in the wrong direction. Get a full model year out the door with minimal issues, then focus on additions.

This is what has me about to order a rubicon. I’m not confident that a 22 bronco will have the “bugs” worked out. The JL will be in its fifth year.

Yes, during a normal model year. This has been anything but.

It's not unprecedented even in recent history. The C8 swapped out 3-4 colors after the first model year. Changed some options around. It was just tough titties if it affected what you'd originally planned. Your build is no longer for a '21 it's what's been decided is available for '22. It's a new order.

Dropping and adding colors between model years happens all the time. The Bronco carrying so many custom orders over from one model year to the next is fairly unique but I highly doubt they'll not follow normal protocol with it too. There's always been a note to the effect of "picking the newly available options for MY22" when resubmitting our builds for the new year. That would entail colors as well.

It would be nice if they kept the '21 colors long enough into '22 to fill current reservations. Add one color at the start of '22 to replace Lightening Blue. Then have a couple of "Late Availability" colors for '22 that replace a couple '21 colors.

Makes sense to me so probably not likely

AMB is my long term favorite Bronco color. I have the Sport in Alto Blue and love this. Going for Cyber Orange for my first Bronco, and hope to have another in AMB for a Bronco(s) / Bears driveway!

And you absolutely can change the exterior color of your Bronco to whatever you like. There are a few examples here on this forum

I hear yah. Would be nice to have as you want from the get go. Especially paying big bucks for a new vehicle.

I was skeptical about vinyl wraps, but now am a big fan. For fun and 10 bucks on Amazon, my son put some carbon fiber wrap on the dash of our BRZ. Turned out nice, much easier than painting, and can be removed later with no damage. The Bronco dash with some of it's flat surfaces, might be a good canvas for wraps.

I think you're right about 9 mile and Woodward for tonight's Bronco announcement. They have a tent and stage set up there already and a few Broncos (north side of Memorial Park).

Here's a color preview:
1. Red Ass or Ass Red. - A matching skin tone color of the 2021 non scheduled Bronco driver.
2. Maroon Illusion Canvas- Or MIC for short. A delusional color that changes before your eyes.
3. Grass Green- A greener color that gives you that "Half Full" vs. "Half Empty" feeling.
