Ford couldn't even make good on their promise to give everyone an ESTIMATED delivery window at the end of May like they promised, and somehow you don't expect them to pull the rug from under you on the promise of price lock guarantee for 2022?!?Ford can’t even produce the 2021 Bronco right now and you’re convinced they’re going to completely redesign, remove colors, change packages and over haul everything? You’re right, Ford is coming, better bend over.
Don't feel bad, since I am a Granger customer. But the funny thing is that I would not have been if Ford's previous pricing promises weren't broken (x-plan).Also whoever mentioned their dealer...I feel bad that you can’t even trust your dealer to honor the MSRP of your vehicle. I have no worries with Granger.
No they can't. However my agreement is for a set amount below Dealer Invoice so there is a bit of security there.Ford said they wouldn't increase MSRP for equivalent Bronco. But gray area if you make any changes, especially for 2022-only options. Also, Ford can't force your dealer to honor pricing.
Ford never promised X-Plan pricing in the beginning, it was all speculation that X-plan would be available. It’s the very reason I changed my order to Stephen’s Auto.Don't feel bad, since I am a Granger customer. But the funny thing is that I would not have been if Ford's previous pricing promises weren't broken (x-plan).
This is incorrect information. I was working on aAll that will be produced in 22 are black base models with softtops. Ford is trying to get back to the basics of the Model T to speed up production so they can to clear out all the reservation orders.
@Rick Astley has all the details.
Dad gum it, you beat me to it bud.I suppose. But I’d like to think Ford is at least smart enough to not even think this would be a good idea. The price protection seems pretty damn straight forward. I think the caveat of “equivalent” means, “if you order the same Bronco in 22’ you ordered in 21.” Meaning you can’t pick a big bend and than try and order a badlands in 22’ for your 21’ big bend price. I don’t foresee Ford changing anything for 2022’ outside of adding a few colors and that heritage model. They don’t have the time to try and overhaul everything when they can’t even figure out 21’ right now.
Also whoever mentioned their dealer...I feel bad that you can’t even trust your dealer to honor the MSRP of your vehicle. I have no worries with Granger.
Lol. They absolutely made good on that promise, they told you they unfortunately could not provide the info they expected to have due to unforeseen circumstances. See, here’s the kicker...Ford has never once lied to you or broken any promises. You just don’t like any of the answers they have.Ford couldn't even make good on their promise to give everyone an ESTIMATED delivery window at the end of May like they promised, and somehow you don't expect them to pull the rug from under you on the promise of price lock guarantee for 2022?!?
You have some serious faith in Ford. I am new to Ford, but so far all I have seen are empty promises with the new Bronco, so I am not as optimistic as you are on this vague promise.
Did Webasto make that top? No wonder the rest of the car fell to pieces. This is incorrect information. I was working on a 1939 Model A last weekend. And yes, the only ones produced were black.
What was the question?
Actually, a lot of folks never received any e-mail from Ford at all.Lol. They absolutely made good on that promise, they told you they unfortunately could not provide the info they expected to have due to unforeseen circumstances.
Not sure I understand what you're talking about? The top is wood framed and you simply staple some canvas down, like all Model A's. JOANN Fabrics could make you a top faster than Webasto.Did Webasto make that top? No wonder the rest of the car fell to pieces.
Well there goes my faith in @Rick Astley Ford history knowledge, Model A's were produced from 1928 to 1931. Rick, perhaps you were working on a 1929 Model A, the below is a 1939 Ford. This is incorrect information. I was working on a 1939 Model A last weekend. And yes, the only ones produced were black.
