Hey Bronco Nation.
Thought someone here could help me distinguish just what I have here.
I brought my previous vehicle to the dealer for an inspection & while waiting I saw this... I immediately fell in love (since I've recently given up Wrangler's after having 7, yes, 7!)
I bought this 22 Wildtrak BUT as you can see it has many qualities as the Heritage from what I've seen. The dash is NOT white, the wheels are different (spare is all black), the hood has the blacked out "wildtrak" and it has the white pinstripe along with the white rear top. Gas tank lid has the bronco/flag... just to name some that I've recognized.
There's only been 1 owner with just 7500 miles but I bought it from a dealer who couldn't really tell me much about what had been done to it.
Anyone have any insight? I'd really appreciate it :)

Got a bunch of mismatched parts, does it have Fox shocks? If it does it probably has the upgraded HOSS 3.0 option, which came out mid-year 2022.

Wow, you got a mishmash of a bunch of different stuff.

It looks like a typical Race Red Wildtrak with a handful of aftermarket changes to give it that "Heritage-like" appearance. The obvious things:
  • That grille is aftermarket, not OEM.
  • The wheels just looks like they took the standard Wildtrak black trim rings and painted them white
  • The hard top looks like they probably just paid someone to paint it. Isn't the same hard top that ships with Heritage.
  • All of the decals/stickers except for the hood sticker are probably aftermarket. There is a chance the white strip down the side is the OEM Heritage decals, but given everything else they did is aftermarket my guess is it is aftermarket.

Thank you both for replies!
Pretty sure no FOX shocks! And ya, mismatch is for sure but I do like the look.
Got some minor mods for the interior.
Any suggestions for the exterior?
....just getting started on my newbie.

That front bumper wasn't available without the Fox shocks, so it's a mismatch also.

Blatantly obvious it's a mismatch! I'm not looking to do anything too off-roading, minor trails for now. The ride is comfortable. Interior lighting sucks as does the sound!

Well whatcha gonna do with your Bronco??
Already replaced the antenna with a stubby. Sliders/side steps coming soon along with rocker panel cover.
I'd like to start looking into seat covers & sound system next.
This NEWB will be doing a lot of browsing here- so far I've seen a lot of great mods.

Hey,

You have a covetted 2 door regardless of the previous owner's vision.

Make it your own!!!

Typical upgrades start with exhaust, CAI, a performance module, and some form of off road lights.

Amazon is a good source to fine particular items like interior lights, mats, etc.... Many options!

Fyi, your tires (OEM) will throw rocks!

Congrats n good luck with your build. Make us proud...

Team 2 Door = Purpose Built and Bad Ass 👍😎👍

I'd say the 2 most popular exterior mods are those expensive color match decorative shackles dangling from the front bumper (aka truck nutz 2.0, nipple rings) and side steps, the OEM ones can be had for $75-100 on marketplace, followed by those are emblem swaps (replacing the sticker with the Bronco script, or the chrome horse with the *wildtrak black one). Lots of bumper swaps also.

Being that I'm a woman, I'd prefer to just call them shackles :lipssealed:
I do want to get the sound upgraded immediately. I have the pods in the upper rear that sound like, well, not much really. Any suggestions?

Hey,

There are many posts here on audio upgrades and the changes that need to be done in settings with forscan.

SSV Works is an upgrade to a 6.5" in the rear. They will bolt up & connect without issue in a 2 or 4 door. You can also just buy the shell an pick another speaker to use.

Here's a link to the speakers n check out the posts here.
