I recently purchased the aFe Momentum GT Cold Air Intake System w/ Pro 5R Filter (2021-2025 Ford Bronco 2.3) and the
aFe BladeRunner Aluminum Hot and Cold Charge Pipe Kit - Black (2021-2025 Ford Bronco 2.3L). However, when the shop went to install on my 2025 Big bend they said it would not connect. That the Bronco has bolts instead of the clamps. We contacted AFE and they were not aware of any design changes to the Bronco. Has anyone else ran into this problem or is this truly a problem? I cannot be the first 2025 to run into this issue or attempt the intake.

Thank you! I am struggling to find an intake and hot/cold charge pipes specifically for the 2025. They all say 21 - 25 but I have learned that is not accurate.

Sounds like AFE didn't do their homework...several changes to the 2025 2.3

Yeah they stated they were unaware of any design changes. Are there any intake and hot/cold charge pipes that are known to work for 2025 yet?

Well hopefully they are going to refund your purchase. I'm not sure if Ingen or others have anything 2025 specific yet.

The only place I can think of that may have updated the CAI would probably be Roush but it's really not a whole lot different than the OEM CAI box...just has a higher flow filter and observation window.

I appreciate it, I will hold off. I just ordered new headlights and tail lights. I had the MBRP exhaust installed yesterday and now I’m just itching for more lol.

I'm in the same boat as you with the intake availability. Bonus if there's some way I can use ford pass point towards it.

I haven’t seen this personally, but it might be a 2025 Big Bend design change. Some owners have used adapter brackets or clamps to fit aftermarket pipes worth checking with your shop or other 2025 Bronco owners for a solution.

I'm hoping you get an answer to this. The 2.3L is completely new for '25 and there doesn't seem to be any options out there for intakes yet. It doesn't help that Ford didn't advertise this change at all.

Yes that’s what’s AFE said, they were unaware of any changes.
