I went Roush as there was nothing else out there at the time. It's really not much different from the OEM intake...just has a higher flow filter. Everything attaches to the factory intake plumbing so really not upgrading the entire intake. Like the OP, I did see a slight increase in MPG but not any noticeable power gains. I do like the observation window for inspecting the filter without having to pull the thing apart. For what it is the price is pretty steep IMO.

IMHO there's some better options out there now that upgrade the entire intake.

ya didn’t pay retail did you? Feel bad if ya did, so many better options than a windowed lid and KN filter
[/roush keeps the factory snorkel, increases the air flow easy install best option for me

Reviving an old thread, what other options do you think would be better than the Roush?

I have been looking into K&N, Injen, Mishi, Volant, and aFe. The only thing I can’t figure out with them is if they retain the water fording capability that OEM has (Roush retains this since it basically just keeps the OEM box).

I haven't kept up with all the latest offerings but I've heard positive reviews on the Injen intake.

I was looking at the Roush as well, but then realized it is just a different air box and a filter. So, I'll probably get the S&B replacement filter, whenever I decided to order it.

Everything. I personally went Volant/Corsa as I just undo the window and clean it

Ill die on the hill that Roush is criminal for charging so much for a lid and a filter

$180 would be fine, not $400+ when my Volant was cheaper and included much more for the price
