2025 Bronco Order Guide Released!

WT has no purpose in this 25 line up just like in 21 and early 22. A 2.7 Badlands SAS had everything a WT did in the early years, and now with optional HOSS 3.0 it has everything the WT did in the later years (and more with sway bar disco.) Sport mode is an easy add with FORSCAN so no real specialty there.

The WT had purpose in all years. Ford was just unable to build them as they were intended and developed. The WT was intended to have what became known as the HOSS3.0 from the beginning. It was also suppose to have the painted gloss black MOD top as standard same with the FE. Ford was unable to provide the MOD tops and the improved suspension, so basically all the 2021 trims with the Sasquatch package were nearly identical with minor exterior and interior colorway differences and two trims with the sway bar rotation system. It is not a disconnect or even a release. It is just a rotating system that allows more flex. Just as easy as adding modes with Forscan, the oem rotating sway bar can be added to any bronco and hooked up to a switch for true usability as opposed to the computer overlord deciding if it can be used or not. Do to the parts needed to complete FE orders, Ford barely even produced any 2021 WTs. Before the full understanding of the part catastrophe a number of 4dr demo versions for dealers with soft tops were produced early in the production year and once all the FEs were slotted for build dates a small number of 4drs were produced. The 2021 2dr WT is the rarest 6g bronco build. The Badlands is the quintessential weekend warrior trim with loads of light duty Ford bolt ons that anyone serious about off-roading is going to be replacing. Scrapping the WT eliminates lots of 2.7s on the market and likely helps improve slumping Raptor sales. Providing the full HOSS3.0 package as an option along with the the black out colorway for the Badlands is a gimme, because the bilsteins, although decent as far as dampening and ride are just built poorly and the blackout colorway is just preferred by most. The 2025 badlands can now just optioned as badland/wildtrack hybrid.

A Modular Hard Top (MOD HT) on a 4 door has removable side windows. That was the only thing that differentiated it with a regular top (aside from painted or MIC). There is no other definition. If it does not have that, it is just MIC or Painted and will never be a Modular HT.

The MIC and Mod tops are different materials yes! Even though Ford doesn't call the painted top a "mod" top in B&P and the order guide you can see below they reference it as such. With the news now that the 2 door's will have the gunners hatch in the painted top and the 2 door HE going away (but having already lost the removable windows for Job 2) I don't see why the 4 door HE won't just get the new painted top but in white.

The removable rear window option is gone, at least for now but that was only one aspect that made them modular.

Parts of the manufacturing process are different. The 2dr obviously has a gunner hatch which for many was the quintessential aspect of the MOD top, and it was hoped to be included on the 4drs, along with the smooth painted surface. The removable windows went through a number of prototypes and ultimately Ford scrapped them due to issues.

It's too bad they got rid of the removable side windows on the MOD top. My wife's Wrangler has those and it's a cool feature.

Had they offered the rear locker on the Base it would have created a sweet spot for cheapskates like me. So happy i got what I got when I got it.

And no 2 door Heritage, that's just beyond stupid.

And rear seat climate vents. Funny that isn't included in the 2 door, since all the hardware would be the same.

I think I am in the huge minority on the forum. I actually love the Big Bend grille and ordered that model by choice.

Not sure if I read it right but it looks like a Sasquatch Big Bend is no longer an option, you go straight to Black Diamond if you want the Sasquatch package?

If so then my ‘24 CG Sasquatch BB is unique now….which I get makes zero difference to anyone else in the world but me, but I think it’s cool…I love the truck so it’s a keeper to me.

Regardless of Ford’s intent, the product we got didn’t really have anything to set it apart. Once they added HOSS 3.0, yes, but that could be added to a badlands in the aftermarket just like the sway bar disco/rotator or whatever you want to call it. It makes sense to consolidate the two. As far as light duty bolt ons, isn’t that what both of these trims are? Lol. Also not sure how buying, installing, and wiring up a whole new sway bar assembly is just as easy as changing a couple numbers in a free to use software program but sure…

I hear you!! Matter of fact it was a pic of your bronco sporting big tires on the OEM wheels that convinced me to buy a set to put my territories on. I think they are the best looking of the OEM wheels.

I was trying to save words so I didn't mention non squatch Badlands. but yeah. Money aside, i believe it to be the perfect Bronco.

BTW love your 2 door AGM Heritage. If I were to do it again, that probably would be my buy, it was a bargain, sad no longer available.

I will caution that there is a very good possibility those parts will not be available through the parts system immediately after 2025 launches. The new stitched 2024 Badlands dash panel, for example, is still not in the parts database. So it'll probably be a patience game.

Oh yeah, it's doubtful OEM parts for the gauge cluster or center console/air vents will be available for at least a year or two, if not longer.

Depends what your definition of modular is. The "modular" hardtop was first on the HE's, had removable side windows for both 2&4 doors and only the 2 door had the gunners hatch, these are oxford white and unfinished black inside. '24 Job 2 took away the removable side windows for the HE's white mod top and a new variant of "painted" hardtop was available, Shadow Black for the upper trims and body-matched for the Raptor and only available on the 4 doors and does not have the removable side windows, these are white inside and have different sound deadening as well. Fast forward to '25 and we get our first mention of the shadow black and body color matched 2 door tops which one can assume has the gunners hatch since the bag is available. In the video for the Stroppe you can see the gunners hatch but there's no mention of it in the announcement.

So, as for technically being modular ... they all are, even the MIC since removable front panels and center panel for the 4 door. The 4 door HE continues with the "mod" top even though it's no more modular than the MIC since the removable side windows are no longer. The new painted and body matched tops for the two doors I guess would be the new "mod" top since at least they still offer the addition of the gunners hatch but also no removable side windows but once again the 4 door version will only have the removable front and center panels.

What were your plans for 4 door "mod" top because technically it's available as long as you select the right trim but it'll be either shadow black or body-color unless you get the Stroppe.

As has been pointed out, MOD top was originally intended as the painted version in which you could remove the side windows in both 2 and 4 door, and the gunner hatch in 2-doors.
MIC was the top with the textured roof and no removable windows.

Fast forward to now - notice how they're saying painted hardtop, not MOD top. Because that's what it is - a painted version of the hardtop without MOD removability (though there seems to be the gunner's hatch ?)

I wish there were more details on the interior changes. I am a little surprised they didn't make the squarish fenders standard across the line.

WildTrak and Badlands have always been cross shopped, it made sense to merge them. I am a little surprised that Everglades got removed entirely and not even made to be a package.

Base being back is cool but only if they are able to reduce the cost of what was the entry level bronco (big bend). I hope they aren't trying to raise the price of the big bend now that the base is entry level.

Also, I agree that the colors are very bland. Why not Grabber blue or Gotta have it green. A cool yellow or blue ember. Just something other than Gray, white and black.

I personally don't love the square fenders, so I'm glad they didn't make that switch - I prefer round openings for something that houses a round object....

They should add Sport mode to Badlands, then aside from interior color, you're basically recreating Wildtrak.

I’ve been following this site for a LONG time but might actually take the plunge on a 2025 so thought I should officially join. Thinking of making a new Badlands my 50th birthday present next year.

I was excited about the changes - I really wanted the Fox shocks but wasn’t a fan of the tan interior and really liked everything else about the Badlands so things worked out well for me.

Looking at combination constraints it looks like you aren’t able to order the modular bumper with the raptor running boards. My question is are you able to order the oem raptor running boards as an accessory - not part of your dealer order? I’m not able to find them on my search of the Ford accessory sites.

Well, for many people doing the wiring and bolting is a whole lot easier than dealing with software. I would venture to say that most or equal numbers of people that do their own wrenching, would rather deal with the bolting and wiring then f-up a back up file or typing in the wrong code in the wrong section, etc. For this subset, it probably wouldn't be all scary once they do it, but at the outset, they will be glued to youtube or reading and rereading some line by line description of steps. Yes, all trims have the potential of getting lots of bolt ons depending on packages and options. The badlands and black diamond just have light duty skid plates and rock rails which once coupled with the light duty steel bumpers that are standard make for a heavy vehicle for quite a few throw away items. Depending on years you could have optioned vehicles to be very similar.

You cannot order them as an accessory... yet... but that may change. The overall trend as of late is Ford is removing factory-installed options and instead making them available from either Ford Accessories or Ford Performance Parts. Truthfully we have no idea if that is actually the master plan, but it makes sense a lot of sense.

That said, you should be able to order them through the traditional Ford Parts channels via your dealership. Once 2025 is in production, you'll likely have to go ask your dealer's parts counter to verify one way or another, and check what the cost will be.
