I've hot spotted phones before; we didn't have (and I believe still do not have) unlimited data as I use Verizon which has been on the expensive side for unlimited data (and neither of us really felt we needed it). I'd switch off them but have always found their coverage to blow everything else out of the water when in rural areas out west.

My wife needs a Spotify subscription for work, so we just have a dual account one which is pretty reasonable (I think it ends up less than $15 a month). All the more reason to junk my Sirius XM subscription though. I'll probably call them soon and see if they'll drop my subscription rate down to keep my business or just cancel it outright.

The only time I still really like Sirius is when I'm in places without a cell signal for streaming Spotify. This is pretty rare though (mainly when wheeling and if I just get off my butt and download more backup media onto my phone for Spotify shouldn't really ever matter).

Update: Went to look at my Sirius account and it apperas my Bronco promotional subscription (or whatever I paid for introductory) has reverted to monthly billing. Paying $43 a month for two cars on it now. Yup; time to cancel!
yes it is and they will come back with deep deep discounts. I think it averages me about $5 per month. I refuse to be forced to listen to redundant commercials so i watch or listen to only stations add free and view onlt stations in which i can fast forward past the commercials in. Siriusxm is commercial free as far as my experience goes.

Yeah, I was able to get them from ~$43 a month to about ~$17 a month for both vehicles by asking to cancel. May still cancel it at some point, but a lot easer to stomach ~$200 a year versus ~$500 a year (since I probably will still enjoy having it at times).

Maybe for the 60th they could unveil an F150 based v8 Bronco option. It’d be a grand slam.
An Expedition-sized Bronco?? Too big imo.

As i mentioned all you need to do is download the sirius xm app from the play store which is free to your phone then listen to your favorite stations on all your cars without cost except for the mobile app. thats what i do. Simple, just try it : https://www.siriusxm.com/help/siriusxm-app

Ah, got it. Always assumed you needed a subscription to use the app... Learned something new.

I thought i made that clear the first time. Do it now and hook it up to your car via Bluetooth. Save the 500 per year for a new toy.
Your save your favorite stations to the app then you will have them every place you go. I often listen to classical music at night via my phone.....chuckle...when you get a rental car no problem sirius xm will go with you as all cars today have bluetooth.

Yes, missed my one point that I want to keep the satellite service if possible since you often are outside of cell coverage if you spend time off the beaten path out here. It is nice to not have to worry about losing streaming if off a 4g network. The only way satellite goes out is a blocked southern vantage in a deep canyon or what not.

yes your right. I run into that often. siriusxm lead me to believe it was satellite but isn't as it goes away when cell signals do.

A two-door one would have more reasonable dimensions and wheelbase for the trail, but that would be a niche market. A very enthusiastic and outspoken niche market, but probably still too small to justify the investment.

Nothing has been announced yet.

The 60th anniversary of the Bronco is next month (August). So we'll probably see something then, maybe a sneak peak, some sort of media release, or something similar. But all of the nitty gritty details that you're most likely interested in probably won't be announced for a few months yet.
How insightful.

26 is only five months away i think Sept will see some on dealer lots if there is any new editions.
The Bronco follows a traditional calendar production year. You won't see any MY'26 in 2025. The 60th Anniversary will likely reveal a special edition with further promotion at the Woodward Dream Cruise. But as far as features and options for MY'26, the Dealer Order Guide (DOG) will detail all that. It traditionally is released at the end of September or the beginning of October.
