yes it is and they will come back with deep deep discounts. I think it averages me about $5 per month. I refuse to be forced to listen to redundant commercials so i watch or listen to only stations add free and view onlt stations in which i can fast forward past the commercials in. Siriusxm is commercial free as far as my experience goes.I've hot spotted phones before; we didn't have (and I believe still do not have) unlimited data as I use Verizon which has been on the expensive side for unlimited data (and neither of us really felt we needed it). I'd switch off them but have always found their coverage to blow everything else out of the water when in rural areas out west.
My wife needs a Spotify subscription for work, so we just have a dual account one which is pretty reasonable (I think it ends up less than $15 a month). All the more reason to junk my Sirius XM subscription though. I'll probably call them soon and see if they'll drop my subscription rate down to keep my business or just cancel it outright.
The only time I still really like Sirius is when I'm in places without a cell signal for streaming Spotify. This is pretty rare though (mainly when wheeling and if I just get off my butt and download more backup media onto my phone for Spotify shouldn't really ever matter).
Update: Went to look at my Sirius account and it apperas my Bronco promotional subscription (or whatever I paid for introductory) has reverted to monthly billing. Paying $43 a month for two cars on it now. Yup; time to cancel!
