2Dr vs 4DR Roof Racks -- same or differences?

Is the 2Dr and 4DR roof racks the same, if not what is different?

In my experience there is a slight difference. I have a 4 DR roof rack on my 2DR. I had to have a hole drilled just a bit wider by the buy I bought my rack from for it to fit on my hard top, like the hard top on my 2DR was just a bit wider? It was weird.
A lot of people on here say the rack is the same for the 2 and 4 DR. It’s on there, it’s snug, but I did have to do a slight modification.
