Hi everyone!

Just wanted to share my positive experience with the Moab Bronco Off-Roadeo. If you don't want to read, I get it 😅, scroll down for pics.

Build - Velocity Blue BD 4dr 2.7 SAS Hard Top Modular Bumper
Reservation - 1/16/2021
2021 original order - 3/18/2021
Conversion to 2022 order - 10/14/2021
No VIN yet

Like most with orders, I've been pretty exasperated with Ford's delivery (or lack thereof) of the new Bronco. I honestly wasn't going to even bother with the off-roadeo but I figured I'd give it a chance and boy am I glad I did.

Since I haven't taken delivery I did have to pay the 200 deposit and 35 reservation fee. What I got out of it is a priceless learning experience. That's my experience though, so maybe others won't get what I got out of it.

I currently own a RWD Grand Cherokee. I do a bit of dirt driving and push it's limits but before this I've never driven on a technical trail. I was at the Fort McDowell off-road event and I've rented an RZR before, but again all of that was on non-technical trails. Needless to say, I'm pretty inexperienced when it comes to off-road driving.

I got to the Red Cliffs Lodge around 7:45AM. There was an adorable 3 year old husky named JoJo waiting to greet everyone. Wish I had taken a picture. Registration went quickly. I didn't get the insurance. Didn't need it but use your own discretion.

We spent about an hour on an intro to the Bronco's history, talk about treading lightly, and intro to the instructors. After intros, we were split into 3 groups and got out to the rigs. About 20 people total and 3 instructors. The group I was in was last and as we waited for the other groups, we were given an intro to recovery gear.

We left around 9:20 and got back a bit later than planned (5:20). That's 8 hours of testing all the Bronco buttons. On the way back I even got a chance to recover a stuck pick up truck so yet another first for me.

I can't put into words the amount that I learned. Not just about the Bronco's capabilities but about the off-road fundamentals. I feel fortunate to have this experience before I start getting into off-roading with or without a Bronco. Preferably with haha.

I not just saying my experience was positive to kiss Ford's behind or whatever. The people I meet in my group including my instructor were in my opinion genuine people enjoying themselves and trying to help each other navigate through the obstacles. No one tried to push the Ford brand. Everyone was just passionate about the Broncos.

Bronco aside the views were spectacular. It was my first time in Moab and I will be returning because there's so much to see.

I got into the Arches National Park on Thursday and enjoyed a beautiful full moon raising over the various mountain formations in the park. I enjoyed a cold but breathtaking paddle board on the Colorado river. Lastly a 1.5 hour hike in and out of Grandstaff Canyon.

Basically it was worth it, I just like writing novels. I tried to cover the things that made me hesitant but if I can answer any questions let me know.

@CValencia You are an inspiration! It's meeting people like you that make these events so meaningful! And you truly mastered that Bronco. We can't wait for you to get yours. You're going to have so many great adventures with it.

Great pictures! I was at Moab Off-Roadeo last week Saturday and had Kelly as our instructor. Ditto to every word you said! I have a few pictures of JoJo with my son, and talked to his owner about his rescue. Awesome dog. Drove up from Tempe in my 4Runner, also waiting on a 4 door VB SAS, but mine is finally supposed to be built 4/5. Went to Zion and Bryce Canyon first…definitely check those places out if you haven’t. If I ever see another 4 door VB SAS tooling around AZ and a driver with matching hair, I’ll assume it’s you!

Just booked my Moab trip for June today! Now I need to book the flight and hotel. Glad to see it was a great experience. I just completed the Bronco experience in WV this weekend and it was a ton of fun. Excited to do Moab as I've never been there before.

I am very fortunate to be able to be a part of so many first off-road experiences. Sometimes though, it’s the guests that allow me to have a first-time exoerience. @CValencia Thanks for the little adventure to this cave. A first for me!.

My wife and I did Moab last September 101 degrees out and it was awesome! The people that were there made it a blast almost got tired of driving, the trail was great and the views were the best! I would love to go back if I ever get my Bronco 9-22-20 reservation date 10-21 first order date 1-22-21 second order date still waiting on my OBX with SAS and LUX. Maybe soon. You should get your deposit back we did with in a couple of days of doing the Moab rodeo. Make sure to ask.

I just got back from Moab, where I was also fortunate enough to have Kelly @The Bronze as an instructor, along with Nick, who I don’t know if he’s on here (if so, hey Nick!). Fantastic time, beautiful scenery, lots of fun learning what the Bronco can do, and a great bonding experience with my 13 year old son.

Highly recommend doing OffRoadeo @ Moab if you can!
