We should embrace the nano motors.
Working with the company who tuned that Explorer right now. Should have my Raptor tuned in a couple of weeks. I'm pumped.
Haha, same. My 2.7L should be tuned today if all goes well. I'm part of the Beta program.
Starting with 93, but hoping to see a E85 tune in a few weeks ;)

lol I was just talkin about this 2 days ago with a friend imo the braptor should’ve got the 3.5 and made the 3.0 an option for regular broncos
That may be the plan for the future. It certainly makes for a more compelling upgrade than a small horsepower bump, doesn't it?

Can you shared the price for parts and labor for this? I expect I probably don't want to know...

Congrats! I saw Adam’s FB post. I think you and I are the only ones ZFG tuned right now.

TBD as far as I know. He may have an option for used vs new ECU’s. The Tuning itself for the beta testers is free. If I had to guess, I’d say 800ish for the ECU and another 5-6 for tuning? This will be for people who are chasing power for sure. The 2.7 is going to make more power easier due to it being port and direct injected. But I would expect 75whp gains on 93 andAbout 100 on E50 for the Raptor

Looks like there is an option for a used ECU on their site for $400 (for 2.7)
I thought about just buying one now even though everything else hasn’t been officially rolled out yet. No idea how many they have so I kind of want to jump on one while they’re available. But I have no idea what else I need so I’ll probably just wait it out.

$400 isn’t bad at all. There’s no reason for them to hike up in price so I think you’re good waiting.

Yeah I wasn’t worried about a price hike, more so just available inventory.

Shouldn't totally replacing the PCM also provide the capability to tune the TCU portion? If this is a viable path to improving the shifting in Sport Mode, I'd be very interested.

Yes. There is no separate module for the transmission control. The PCM controls all of it.

Because they will eventually make more money putting it in a "Bronco Raptor R"...
