35” tires on 2.3L with 3.73 gearing

There are a lot of threads on here about using 35” tires on a 2.3L with 3.73 gearing. It seems 50/50 with some saying put’er in sport and let’r rip and the other saying woo nelly it will ruin the trans etc….

has anyone been running 35s with this setup for more then a year in all four seasons. Have you had any mechanical issues as a result of running 35s?

(1) it’s not ideal, but…
(2) most Jeeps you see with 35s are 3.45, and
(3) most F-150s you see with 35s are 3.55



I say go ahead and do it.
