I have the CANOpener too. Other than one pain in the ass bolt on the footwell module install and making sure the pins are all seated in the HMI connector, the install is not that hard. I did it while installing the heated steering wheel.

Curious... has your rear camera suddenly started working at speed also? Mine started showing the rear camera about a month or so ago... did not for the first year and a half.

No, I use the camera at speed a handful of times each week this winter and haven't seen that issue. I did get this weird cardboard-looking error on the backup camera last week though:

I'd def notice on the 360 view, too, because the rear camera would be blocked with snow, like it is in the the top 2/3 of that picture, lol

Now that is odd.... I have had the reverse go black but that is it... Only time the reverse camera went black was in high heat temps. I think that is why there is a recall. I called the dealer to schedule and they have never gotten back to me but the reverse camera has been working fine ever since.... I have been attributing that to the cold temps.

I am not complaining about the rear camera (with the 360 cameras) suddenly working. It is nice... It just never had before.

I’m not sure if you or anyone else that has added the 360 camera/can opener has run into this issue… The product says that it allows navigation while moving. I have already done this modification through Forscan. If I install the 360 camera/can opener, will I have to reverse this modification prior to the install? Will it make any difference whether I reverse the mod or not?

Where can I find the Forscan instructions for the 360 camera view at any speed?

There is none! I was referring to the navigation while in motion.

In my 2022 Wildtrak, it broke the voice prompts for me and then the volume would hang and not revert back to full volume until I manually turned the knob back up and then it switches back to music volume versus alert volumes.

Since trading up to a 2024, I did not bother to change forscan for nav in motion because of above.

No one else having this issue with the forscan mod?

Jumping in here; I also have this Can Opener installed on my Bronco. I use Apple CarPlay regularly and can answer any questions (though I’m sure everything has been answered).

I did not have this installed myself. My local audio shop was willing to install while they were upgrading my sound system.

Huh. You're right. It does display the rear cam as part of the multiplexed view.

Wonder if the big 4D Tech warning on the site means it can't display any of the bigger rear cam views?

I think it is a change... Probably an update from Ford.... Like I said, my rear camera did NOT work in the 360 view for the first year and a half. It looked like this:
