4 door roof rack on 2 door bronco?

I have been following the other thread of 4 door owners putting 2 door roof racks on their broncos.

But no one has done the opposite?

Can anyone confirm / deny from personal experience if a 4 door roof rack mated perfect with their 2 door hard top?

Why are there different part numbers? I am hesitant unless this has been proven somewhere

The racks are nearly identical but the 4 door rack will need to be slightly modified to fit on a 2 door. The slots in the rear crossbar will need to be lengthened to reach on the 2 door which is slightly narrower. I don't know if this something that has changed over the course of production but it was the case with my install of a 4 door rack onto my 2 door.
