Folks,

I searched other threads (but not very hard) to see if this was posted elsewhere and didn't find it. For those who are eligible, Ford offers a $500 MAP. Below is the Ford website to learn more about it and to request a $500 discount voucher. First Responders are also eligible. The website doesn't specify which model the discount does or does not apply. It simply asks if you are interested in a Ford or Lincoln vehicle.

Hope this helps folks to pay for new floor mats or a brush guard.

Yes, not available as of 5 Jan 2021...but neither is the Bronco.

Since some on here will be waiting 12+months, perhaps viable then.

I always ask! Thanks OP!

Well, thanks for trying @70Bronco . Like others said, maybe it'll happen next year but I doubt it.

Ford's site has conflicting information on their site about this. I can look at the bronco sport and click on available incentives. The incentive page for the sport does list MAP and first responder. However the above info shows it's excluded from sport. I wouldn't count on it but I'd still have my dealer dig into when the time comes to finalize.

Typical treatment of prior military.
Not that I go looking for any special treatment, but when it's limited in this manner, it pisses me off.
"Yes, we appreciate your service..... but only thiiis much. And now you don't qualify. "
It gives you the feeling that's it's just a dirty cash grab.
I'd rather they say nothing at all.

Doesn't apply to vets after 2 years of getting out. Happy Veteran's Day....I did 6 years active and 5 years reserves. Get nothing.

$500 discount doesn't much matter for me, since I will likely die of old age, before they deliver my Bronco

If you go to the bottom of the page you will see that it still does not apply to Broncos (or really any Ford vehicle for that matter)
The excluded vehicles constitute only a very small portion of Ford Sales - I am glad that Ford at least offers a discount to Military and First Responders, even if it is not currently offered on the Bronco. Many manufacturers do not offer any discount.

Excluded - Shelby GT350®, Shelby® GT350R, Shelby® GT500®, Mustang Mach 1, Ford GT, F-150 Raptor, F-150 Lightning, Bronco, Bronco Sport, and Mustang Mach-E.

Like I said - if you didn't retire from the military in the past 2 years, even if you did 19.5 years then got out, you do NOT get the discount. Vietnam vets who got out? No. Gulf war 1 (myself) or 2? No. Iraq, Afghanistan? No. Just for the people who got out after Nov 2019.

They are leaving out hundreds of thousands of vets. Even though it's only $500...that's probably why. I'm glad they do it too, but it's kind of a hollow gesture if only for lifers or recent military.
