Hey guys,
New poster here, but long time lurker. Like alot of you, my Bronco has been sitting on Dirt Mountain since 7/12 waiting for a new hardtop. I've been keeping up to date on the grand adventures of our vehicles hanging out on DM and had resigned myself to waiting out the roof issue to get a good unit. However, now I'm running into some weird new issues. As the title says, I ordered through Military Auto Source and so far they've been decent to deal with. However, last week they advised that though my Bronco would be built in the next few weeks, Ford had advised them that it would now be built with a SOFT top rather than the long awaited MIC 2.0. Has anyone else been told this? I honestly would have been fine with this option if they had offered it 2 months ago when this whole thing started, but after waiting this long and seeing other Broncos get built with the new MIC I'm really not willing to bend anymore. Unfortunately MAS doesn't have any info other than that Ford has told them the above and when I call Ford they just tell me to talk to my dealer. At this point I'm at a loss. Has anyone else dealt with this or anything like it? Any other DM Bronco buyers have their dealer try to force a change in contract to swap to the soft top? Any words are super appreciated!
