Anyone else wondering if their build is waiting on chips? I know Ford said it's not an issue, but seems like a logical explanation for these taking much longer to ship.

I don't think that is the case for us. Using ford's ETIS website and my VIN lookup it certainly looks like anything/everything with a chip is present and was checked on 6/30 for mine. But I could be totally off on this.
I'm leaning more towards them trying to put vehicles with close destinations on the trains maybe being an issue. I think they're trying to see how many inefficient processes they can fit into one new vehicle rollout.

The last week has made me feel like a small child who can’t get what it wants. I’ve never been this impatient about something, it’s a bit worrying haha
Same!! 🤷

I saw mine in Etis the other day so looked like my computer was all there. And I saw an article today saying Ford just received a bunch of chips for their F-150’s. But honestly who knows!

If you go back a few pages, it's shipping issues right now. Even my dealer confirmed via the vehicle visibility report that they can pull up. Still hasn't shipped as of Monday for me. Once it has, the vehicle visibility lookup will give a rail car # or have something about the convoy trailer it's on.

I spoke to my dealer here in Arizona today and while my status still shows In Production with a 7/1 date my Bronco FE was built on 6/30. He told me I should have it the second week in Aug.

Where is he getting that turnaround time for delivery? Sounds like 6 weeks from build date which doesn’t coincide with the shipping times others have mentioned.

Sorry, I misspoke. He said it is waiting for shipping and should be here the first week of August. I think he is just guesstimating.

I’ve talked to several people and read threads and comments all over. Here is a compilation of what I can piece together. Our Broncos are built. That part of the tracker updates automatically. Anything after that has to be MANUALLY updated and obviously that is not being done. This would probably include updating with the rail car numbers and transport trucks. Several people have reported that their Broncos are in their driveway before anything changes from “pending.” The last date change on the bottom of the window sticker is likely when it was cleared and possibly shipped. My blend date was 6/29, in production 6/30, and last date change 7/6. So hopefully mine is in transit somewhere. I think with the plant closed this week, things are still shipping but maybe certain roles are off and that’s why things aren’t being updated. I would not be surprised if Monday morning there is a massive amount of Built emails that go out. My hopes of having the truck for my anniversary are fading rapidly and that’s fine. It should be here by September birthday. I also have every intention of raising hell over the shipping price on my Bronco whenever it does arrive.

I continue to check my pages daily looking for a change. I confirmed with my salesman mine shows produced. Ford page says in production still. My produced date was 7-1. My window sticker is currently sitting with 7-3 at the bottom. On the 4th it showed 7-4 and later that day went back to 7-3. It will get shipped at some point. And maybe this off week has things messed up. Oh and have you seen where the F-150's have finally received the needed chips?? I hope this doesn't clog the trains with the F-150's now ready to ship!

im not convinced that date at the bottom means anything, mine updated shipped on 7/1 with an estimated shipping time of 21 days. Dealer confirmed that, just looked at sticker and that date seems to change every few days now says 7/8 on the bottom. i was blend date 06/28 but I got an email that it went into production 6/21 and another that it was built on 6/29. based on people posting with their new vehicles i was sure it would show up this week
