Something is wrong, call me crazy, but how could anyone assume anything other? Not one person can give any answers on all of these cars sitting.
I am not near the ledge in Bronco, I am near the ledge on my current Bronco.
My Bronco was built 7/2, got its clear bra installed 7/13 and has been sitting around waiting for ......Splash guards.

There are clues from people who work there parts shortages. The biggest/obvious issues are MIC top problems. I did an informal poll here and it was MIC/Tow package where the common element in that poll.

What explains all the variations of Bronco’s that were built and shipped the last 2 weeks? Suddenly parts appeared for new bronco’s but not for old one’s?

Without an exact break down of what and more importantly what wasn't built, there is no way to tell what was what...for all we know 80-90% of production was soft tops.

Ford also isn't going to pull parts slated for production vehicles to fix ones built already. That would lead to a complete clusterfuck of scheduling that would screw up things even more.

Sorry not buying any of it…I am a soft top. I was built on 6.18. I have been sitting in production.
local rep said to my dealerships GM on the phone in front of me, they would never produce new cars ahead of old cars still sitting. That was yesterday. But we all know the last 2 weeks, they cranked a lot of new trucks and shipped them right away.
I hope you are right, but I logically think otherwise.
All I can say, if it were a tow package slowing my car up for almost 7 weeks, just let me know, I will happily cancel it. But it’s not the tow package!

Thats the problem, your trusting your dealership to tell you something when they will say ANYTHING to keep you happy.

The only thing that debunks this parts shortage theory imo are trucks like mine. FEs can really only be built 10 ways and none of them are parts changes just color choices. I’ve seen multiple FEs identical to mine even down to the color built and shipped after mine so there is nothing i can possibly have on mine that they don’t have on theirs. This is also why i think the idea that these trucks will just be scrapped and forgotten about is ridiculous because they have multiple first editions out there that can’t be 2022s

And that's exactly why there's a bunch of us that are frustrated. Our's were supposedly built over a month ago, but we're seeing a turn around of a week or so on newer builds with similar specs. Are we being completely skipped over? "Sorry, your's if pretty much done, just waiting on parts " but we're going to use those parts to build a new dealer demo

…And Beyond!!
It’s going to be sad if they open production up and start cranking out new trucks and we are all still sitting. I think production resumes 8/3 or 8/4 (I could be wrong, but I thought I read that)
There has got to be someone to talk to that can figure this out and give some answers.
Local Reps can’t help, dealerships can’t help, marketing can’t help, customer care can’t help…

I'm stuck in the same boat you guys are and what it boils down to is that it is just a parts shortage issue or MIC tops. I have two people I use to track my VIN internally at Ford and one dug into it and pointed the blame at the lack of splash guards....which was two weeks ago.

Ford isn't going to go to that level of detail. To do so would be an admission of a problem that could lead to legal issues down the road.

I hope you are right and I also hope when production resumes, there arent any trucks built with splash guards while your truck is just sitting somewhere waiting for splashguards...
I think we will know by end of next week if this madness for us all will end or continue...

A few of us have tweeted and connected with media about it as well. No one seems to care, including Ford.
