Agreed! That’s bullshit, I went to my dealer and sat with the rep and the GM, they ensured me it was not a chip issue.
I think that’s the easy answer!
Saaaaame exact thing here... love it.I'm a 6/28 er still waiting. Called my dealer and was told he doesn't know when it will be released. He further stated that I was extremely lucky to even have it built and need to be patient. He then proceeded to tell me how great his demo was (which is the exact same build as mine). Like that would make me feel better about this process. SMH
So where do we stand as a group now? I know one of our 6/14 week folks was freed last week. Do we have any left from that week? I know there are 6/21 folks still waiting plus the restofus 6/28ers.
I've been trying to avoid looking at the 8/2 thread because reasons![]()
06-28 blend, in production since 06-29 & I'm still here with my fellow Purgatorians. My dealer told me there's still no change in the status of my Bronco, but my rock rails showed up to the dealership. So I guess I have that going for me.Is it time for us to start ordering some "late availability" accessories.....? Might get here before our Broncos.
8/2?????I'm in the 8/2 group but following here in order to temper my impatience as others there get FBN and built statuses and such and I sit in production. Just popped in to test the waters...
I actually ordered from Ziegler Ford in Michigan. Was at our cottage when reservations opened on 7/13 and it picked the closest dealer to my computer's location, he does a lot of out of state sales and assured me the transaction would be as if I purchased in Toledo so I never changed it. It definitely came off as stop asking about your damn Bronco.I'm still here too...checked in with my dealer yesterday and no update yet. He said to check back in later this week but I don't expect anything to change.
@CMU_Chip Was going to respond to you regarding what your dealer said and saw you are in Perrysburg...I'm in the Toledo area as well. Which dealer did you go through? I wouldn't be thrilled with that response, unless it was said in a different way than it reads.

@cazimi a word of warning, we're a salty bunch here. Just so you know what you're getting intoI'm in the 8/2 group but following here in order to temper my impatience as others there get FBN and built statuses and such and I sit in production. Just popped in to test the waters...
The lack of transparency is what kills me. Take a moment to think about how much crap Ford dealers have received on this forum because they don't communicate or aren't transparent with the order process. No one defends the dealer, and Ford shouldn't be exempt to criticism for how they are handling this.
Most of you know that I am a dealer, and I can't imagine treating a customer this way. Transparency and communication are the easiest ways to gain trust, and in an industry where pricing is almost the same, that is how you separate yourself from the rest.
I am sure that I speak for most of us when I say, that if Ford were to come out today and officially tell us why our orders are delayed and present a plan for how they will resolve the issue, we would be happy to wait for our Broncos. A few days, a week, or a month, it doesn't matter, just as long as we understand what's happening.
Our demo Bronco is here at our store, and it is great to be able to see it and have our order holders drive it, but trying to explain this order process is getting to a point where I can no longer confidently say how things will unfold. Even if your order is pulled, scheduled, bucked, sent to plant, and produced, there is still no clear and effective way to say "Hey, your bronco will be here (Insert week)".
I hope that Ford fixes its production issues, and works to improve its communication with customers, but it is too early to tell. I have so much respect for Ford, and I couldn't be happier with how they brought the Bronco back, but at some point they can't keep relying on hype to mask mistakes. Someone within Ford needs to take a step back and realize that this is being run poorly, and work to improve the order process.
That is all I have for today, and I apologize for the long-winded post, but tomorrow is another day for things to turn around for us.
Looks like these were never imprisoned at MAP.I'm tracking for some of us in the Houston area. We've had some movement:

Have no rhyme or reason to what's going on. Glad to see some Houston ones show up.
