Figured I’d post pictures for everyone googling different options. I found a lot on this site that helped me research what I wanted.
Stock Big Bend wheels.
285/75r17
All I have on there is a Zone leveling kit.
Tires are Toyo AT II

I think if I went any bigger they wouldn’t fit on the center brake light where the spare goes. It’s like a perfect fit. This tire size is basically a 34x11.5

No rubbing or anything, fits great. Didn’t need to remove crash bar. Looks ever better in person. Pictures don’t do it justice.

Nice! Looking at upgrading my tires too, leaning towards 33s but they still look a little small to me. How's the ride with that size / weight difference? Also how bad is your MPG getting hit? And is that with the 4.27 or 3.73? I have the 3.73 so curious how it handles. Thanks.

These are technically 33s but they are closer to 34s it’s like 33.84 or something. Rides fine. Won’t know about MPG until later. Haven’t had them long enough. This is just the standard 2.3 engine so I decided not to go with 35s due to the gearing issues. Some people say it’s fine some say nah don’t do it so I just went with the 33s. They look a lot bigger in person. If you want to go the safe route and not re gear this is probably the perfect tire size with the stock rims.

Nice. I'm debating those same Toyo 285/75R17 tires for a base 2-door, or the Sas Goodyear Territory 315/70R17.

I like the slightly smaller diameter of your Toyo, personally I think that size provides the best match for a larger size which still works reasonable with a stock Bronco setup. But, that Toyo wieghts 71 lbs, compared to only 52 lbs for the larger diameter Goodyear tire. So I've been kind of debating which ultimately provides the best ride/performance.

Do you have any photos that show how the edge of the tire lines up with the flare? Inward, even or outward of the flare? What some folks call the "poke".

I think if I were to go any larger on the stock rim, I wouldn’t go so far as a Sasquatch-size tire, but rather a 35/11.50. That would look great - but then you’re removing crash bars, and possibly compromising your gearing, speedo calibration, and clearance if you don’t have some kind of lift. Whereas the 285/75 works great without any of those changes…

I changed my BB tires to 33's also , but I have a two door . and I used the OBX wheels cause I like them and were cheap to purchase ( don't know if ya'll will believe me but I got them @ $40 each from someone local that wanted them out of their garage , $200 total ) I still have the factory wheels in garage attic.

Really glad you posted this as I'm looking to upgrade my BB tires in June to the same size, or a 285/70/17.

Around how much was the cost of the 5 tires/install? Also, is the leveling kit necessary?

I’ve been running 285/75R17 Ridge Grapplers since 2021 and I think it’s a pretty underrated tire size, but perfect for me.

Cooper Discovery AT3 XLT - 10ply - 275/70/18 comes with 60k mile warranty
they do ride smooth considering shorter wheel base , keep mine @ 36psi , balanced well , minimal road noise ( even my wife noticed )

I like the look of the 75’s vs 70’s. Looks taller. I went 295/70/17 and I wish I would have gone 295/75/17.

Thank you so much! These would make it go from 32 to 33s and not rubbing issues? Got a standard OBX 2.3 auto… any reason not to upgrade? As you can tell I’m not an expert I just want something more capable that stock.

I replaced my BB 255s with 275s on Badlands wheels. Still 32s but happy with the look.
