Hit by a Jeep running from police. Is this a total?

Cops were chasing a Jeep Cherokee and it hit me.

Does this look like a total. Just got in December has just under 3k miles.

Jeep on right is the one being chased and then hit me.

Most concerning for me is the crunch under the hard top. The back gate opens perfectly so it all in the back 1/4. Plus worried about axle/suspension....

I still cant belive how the actual rim chattered unless that's the point of impact

How does this look, is that shock mount look bent? I have no warnings on dash ,just 2 on app, tire pressure and rear blind spot indicator which is gone ofcourse. No airbag deploy....just hoping the stuff we can't see is repairable

Might have more damage than it looks from pics. Depending on direction of hit.
Is the entire axle pushed out the drivers side?
Or is the wheel off the axle

Still doesn't look totaled though

A better pic of that wheel in the light would be nice

Probably totaled since you mentioned a Jeep was involved.

With these appreciating in value the damage has to be massive to total. Source: Mine is in the shop, and may get a full new frame. That's still under 75% ACV. The damage is small, but was enough force in a small area to throw off the alignment it looks like.

The panel un bolts. A tail gate bolts on, I doubt there is any undercarriage damage of any significance. The worst part will be the length of time in the body shop. Unless things have improved it most likely be a couple of months. Good luck.

That is definitely not the way.. so sorry my brother. I don’t think it’s a total. Might be an opportunity to look into some fender upgrades. Just a thought, I’m always trying to look for the bright side. Wish you all the best and glad you’re not hurt.

He seems to have hit the L/R wheel hard enough to break it in half, so I would suspect some suspension damage. I guess it's time to start pricing out that ICON kit you've been looking at

The body work should be simple to replace, and I seriously doubt it's a total loss.

With these trucks being rare in the scrap world they have a high scrap value, which can push to total easier than other vehicles. If the hit is hard enough that it bent the suspension mounting points on the frame I could see it being enough to total. Putting the body on a new frame isn’t that difficult for a competent shop, but often it leads to a total on our work truck fleet.
