DUCKed by a Jeep owner

I spent the weekend in the White Mountains of NH. We stopped at a restaurant in North Conway where I parked a few spots away from a well maintained Jeep. When we came back out to our Bronco we found this sitting on our Door handle.

I think I am going to start ducking Bronco's with this Duck.

We always enjoy getting ducked in our Jeep and ducking other Jeeps One day our Bronco may (or may not) show up. Seems a lot of folks on this forum are against being ducked.

I'm still in my jeep. I was ducked once and honestly I love it. The comradery when it comes to Jeeps is great. It's not for everyone but I enjoy the wave and ducking. I think its fun. Hope it doesn't end when my bronco comes in.

I would take it as a sign of goodwill and respect.
It beats the hell out of being keyed/vandalized.

I mean if it was in your garage locked up... I'd have some questions. But in the driveway, nice person saw your jeep and liked it. Could have even been a neighbor.

better the jeep get DUCKED while you were out of town than the bronco!

I noticed this myself yesterday! I've passed many Jeeps and a few Broncos while on the road and I've only had Jeep owners wave at me Better than the bird!

So glad you didn’t take this too seriously. There’s some forum members that equate “ducking” to throwing a brick through your windshield and take it as the highest form of disrespect from a jeep driver. We need less of this “us vs them” mentality.

I am not one of those guys too proud to admit this: I thinking ducking is a unique sign of community that our world needs. We got ducked and my kids cannot wait to duck a Jeep or Bronco. I foresee buying some and having fun with my kids “making someone’s day.”
