Hit by a Jeep running from police. Is this a total?

Hey from MD - this really sucks but I am glad you are OK. Also, I hate to say bad news - but I think that top is also questionable. Note that the fender buckled upwards - that top is held down by 4 bolts on that side. There must have been upward force there - misaligning and possibly stressing that top. Same for that rear assembly/axle and suspension mounts. That much force - will stress and break things on the inside or cause hairline fractures on the more fragile components. Good luck with it - and I wholeheartedly agree - retain a lawyer. Doesn't cost anything to just talk to one. PM me if you need recommendations on that end.

Thank you I did take a peek at the roof and all was good. No cracks and all screws and aligning pins were good. Back gate opens like it's new, no issues. My concern is everything we cant see, frame, transmission, axle

How does this look, is that shock mount look bent? I have no warnings on dash ,just 2 on app, tire pressure and rear blind spot indicator which is gone ofcourse. No airbag deploy....just hoping the stuff we can't see is repairable

Most concerning for me is the crunch under the hard top. The back gate opens perfectly so it all in the back 1/4. Plus worried about axle/suspension....

I still cant belive how the actual rim chattered unless that's the point of impact

This was repaired, so I think you are OK for repairs. I used a Ford bodyshop.

If the frame is bent, even a little, it will likely be a total. At that angle of impact, we'll have to see.

Doesn’t look close to being totaled, but need to see what’s going on under the skin on that quarter panel. Glad you’re ok, that’s the most important thing. This may be a timely reminder of gap insurance. A lot of insurance companies will try to lowball and screw you over if it was a total loss. My gap insurance adds $8 a month during the life of the loan. Nice peace of mind to have.
