The Jeep community has a thing where Jeep owner "Duck" other Jeep owners by leaving a rubber duck on Jeeps. In the Bronco community I've seen the hotwheels, rubber horses etc being used.

* Some Jeeple hand out shit to each other, more often rubber ducks, and call it getting "ducked".
* Not to be outdone, some new Bronco people decided they had to hand out shit too - Ugh.
* One Creepy dude tried to get the world to accept being "squatched" with a plastic figurine.
* Others decided to get "bucked" and hand out rubber my little pony-esque nonsense.
* Perhaps the best of the poser ideas is now handing out little diecast Broncos.

My sister, who has an OBX on order, has said that she wants to do MLP so many times. She even threatened to go out and buy one just for my Bronco while I was visiting her a couple of weeks ago.
Of course she also said she wants to replace the tailgate Bronco, with the unicorn one she's seen online.

I hear you Todd, my inner curmudgeon agrees, leave my Bronco alone!
Though I do get why people do it. The whole club, clan, feeling of camaraderie thing. So if it brings a warm fuzzy feeling to them by doing it, I won't complain.... too much.

Thing that bugs me is it was instantly like "ok, we have these broncos and we need to do what jeep people do". No. No we don't. And now they want everyone to scan and post their parking lot assault (joking, FFS) on social media for likes and follows.

I'd rather you wait a couple minutes if you like my ride and TALK to me about Cheeto, and I can talk about your ride. You know? The thought of people armed and ready to drop a toy on any and all broncos is just strange to me. Not so much the diecast because as mentioned by @NJRoadkill , who doesn't like diecast, but the rubber horse ducks and other figurine with notes nonsense.

Two weekends ago I was in NH/VT doing Class IV, seeing the leafs 
with my lady. Wasn’t far from Gunstock (off rodeo) and I Bronco-Bombed da’fa out of that parking lot. 
One person drove from FL. They deserved a Bronco, man!
However, I put them under the wiper, didn’t want to touch paint. And none of that note BS. I agree there. Socials are stupid. Do things without needing the “clout” or whatever the yutes call it.

Found two-doors at Dollar Generals and four-doors at Dollar Trees as well. $1.25 a pop.
Pulled into a grocery store parking lot this AM. Sitting near me (not too close of course) was a white jeep with ducks lined up all the way across the dash board, like 2 deep. It looked busy, cluttered, and a little silly. The term hoarder popped into my head for some reason.
