I visited a local dealer to see A51 on a Sport. It is an incredible color that looks different depending on the light and shadows. I tried to get as many different angles to show the difference that you see.

They also had a lot of Rangers with some of the other colors. I took some for those of you interested.

Sorry about the double pictures. I tried to edit it but can’t figure it out.
(you have to “delete” them from the attachment list below the text window)

I had the same experience with A51 you did, but I did not do as good of a job documenting it.

Thanks!

I love the color, but it’s popularity makes me want something different, don’t want to accidentally crawl into someone’s rig when I’m not paying attention thinking it’s mine

Grateful for the pics. I've been trying to decide between Iconic Silver and Cactus Gray. Your Ranger side by sides of both colors is very helpful. Now I have something to stare at for a couple of weeks. ?

I stopped at local dealer today too. Saw A51. I like that it’s flat. I saw carb grey on the explorer. Too much metallic for me. I need to see cactus grey in person. I’m leaning toward the flat colors. No metallic.

I'm now convinced that no matter what color I pick I will be both A) Very happy with it and at the same time B) Very disappointed I didn't pick something else ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

*What's strange is around here, dealers are getting a lot* of cactus gray but no area 51...

*by a lot I mean 30% each white, black, and carbonized gray. Rest cactus gray...

I stopped by the dealer to check out the Cactus Gray. This was my original top color and I really wanted to like it. In person, on a cloudy overcast day, it’s a very light flat gray with a hint of lime/mint “ cactus” green ever so slightly noticeable. I almost wish it was a shade darker flat gray with more blue tone, not quite Area 51 but more like the Toyota TRD Battleship gray. Now I’m leaning towards A51 or if I gather up the courage; Cyber Orange. I’ll upload some pics and walk around vid of the Cactus Gray baby bronco (on the lot at Courtesy Ford. OR) later this week.

So, are you now 100% getting A51? Final answer?
Yes. I was at 98% determined to get A51 and seeing it in person pushed me the additional 2%. My poor brother thought I was crazy walking around it a dozen times trying to see the difference between flat panels and lines as far as the color. I wish there weren't so many baby Bronco's being manufactured in this color but it is what it is.

I was all over Area 51 and Cactus Gray for the past couple of weeks but I finally pushed myself out of both. I went to one of my local dealers yesterday and it was pretty crappy weather and all the bronco sports were lined up. It just felt dull and sad.

They are great colors, but this trip has determined that neither are the color for me.
