Access request

I’ve never been given access to a vehicle I bought on my app/phone. If I look on another phones app it was set up on it shows me as a user. Any ideas? What delivery method is used for the request so I can look for it on the other phone(daughters)?

I've never done it but would think your daughter could check Ford Pass using the account you're requesting access to for the request if she didn't get an email or text (which could have went to junk mail).

It's all tied to FordPass accounts.

I am the primary user of the vehicles, and all of the vehicles are registered to my FordPass account. My wife has her own FordPass account which she uses to sign into the FordPass app on her phone. When she goes to register the vehicle with her FordPass account, an access request is sent to my FordPass account. I approve the request, she gets access.

How did you get the request? In app, text or email? I’ve done it before, just don’t remember. I believe it was set up on my daughter’s app by salesperson. I see myself as a user looking at her app. Just not on my phone. Pic shows what I see.

In the old app - it was a message/notification inside the FordPass app. There was no email or SMS/Text or anything else.

Not sure how the new app does it.

Looks like I will just do a master reset. Seems my request is lost in requestland. Nowhere can we find the request. I do have a message into Ford. Should be a few days for a reply based on past experience. Will post an update once I figure it out.

Resolved. I’m a dumb ass. Was trying to access our previous Maverick not paying attention to the slightly different color/name in the app. Solution. Pay better attention and delete previous vehicles.
