ADD Bumper Install Help

Question for you ADD bumper guys regarding front install - The directions don't mention the shutters in front of the inner cooler. The bumper will hit and if we unplug and remove, the check engine light comes on. Se attached

Remove shutters. Remove motor from shutter assembly. Plug just it back in and zip tie out of the way. I removed that whole black bracket too. Discard shutters, bracket. Proceed w bumper install.
