Added front + side cameras using NAViKS

I did the same upgrade last week. I love having the cameras. The install was a chore but worth it in the end.

That's pretty sweet! What's that red trim around the screen? Is that an add-on too? Have a link?
Yeah it was quite a chore to do, but I'm also happy with the results!

How happy are you with the placement of the cameras under the mirror? I tired there first but after driving it around I was not getting good images of vehicles in the next lane.

- Can it be a "Dash-Cam" and record?
- Can you do front facing add only?
- Can the side cams come on with the blinkers?
- Can you watch them from your phone?

I am pretty happy with it, I can see the lane , the ground next to the car. A happy compromise between on/off road I’m hoping, although I haven’t hit a trail yet since I put the cameras on!

I swapped my grill for a Badlands w/ camera hole It's held on with 3M tape and cable ties. I am looking for a better mount.

I feel you, though bagging and labeling fasteners made things fairly easy.

For the cameras themselves I used the Natika cameras on amazon. About $35 each.

Altogether about $650-$700.

It looks like it’s on sale right now for $300 instead of $500

actually no I haven’t. Probably didn’t need to get that, the $450 version could be enough. But if I have a device with that I could hook up a RCA adapter with, you could display it on the oem screen.
I saw a video where the Naviks guys hook up a phone to it, sort of like an external monitor.

The cameras have a simple ranging plot (red, yellow, green) that they can display. I wanted to see the detail instead so I turned that off.
