This is killing me. Even the dealer did not get back to me on this. I would pay to have a front facing camera added to my 22 Bronco Big Bend. I cannot believe it did not come with one - my bad, should have paid more attention. But it can detect and prevent crashes, slow down automatically with cruise control, and read speed limit signs... but has no front camera?? I would even trade this one in the get one with it.

I have a Black Diamond and have been looking for front camera options. I've tried a few options on Amazon and the biggest complaint is reliable wireless connection. Here is what I am working on now:

GoPro Hero 9 has a feature where you can operate it from a phone. I tested it out at home and it has a nice range to it. Nice, clear reception.
https://gopro.com/en/us/shop/cameras/hero9-black/CHDHX-901-master.html
I saw this GoPro mount that fits on the grill:
https://www.gobadges.com/gopro-car-mounting-kit-p/gp001.htm
They have some in stock here:

I hope this solution works because I can use the GoPro to record video (in other locations too) and use it as a front camera with my iPhone which I already have a mount for.

Looks like you recently joined the site, welcome. Are you referring to the Bronco Sport listed on your profile? If so you might want to clarify that in your post as almost all the content here is related to full size Bronco models. Also you may want to cross post to one of the Sport-specific sites like broncosportforum.com if you haven't already. Good luck on your camera search, in any case!

Whoops, thanks so much for the clarification. Yes, I have a 2022 Ford Bronco Sport Big Bend... I did not realize this was for the larger style Broncos. Thanks for the tip!

No problem. You may want to still watch the responses on this thread as well since I think you might get some aftermarket ideas from it.

Ford Bronco Adding Front Camera to Base Bronco? B3FABB08-DC78-4E6C-B538-9CEEC44BD594

Attempted the Naviks install with an amazon natika camera on my 7MT Badlands base (no mid package) and unfortunately naviks does not support the manual transmission, yet.

If they get a 7MT test mule in NY they said they'd call me back after they get it working and available for sale.

I could get the camera to work after moving out of reverse when the "reverse image delay" setting was turned on, but it'd cut out at like 3pmh and the other feature, nav in motion, didn't work for whatever reason.

Don't look forward to doing this whole process again.

Recently installed the Naviks option on my BaseSquatch along with a Nakita camera.
Pain to install with how far the dash has to come apart but otherwise excellent operation.

Naviks just told me to use this video:

Then afterwards remove the screen with the 4 screws and you'll be able to access and install the harness and let the camera and accessory power provided dangle underneath

Bump on this thread - here's a thought, let me know if you see any issues.

Take this or something comparable (at $30 I don't care if I run it over and have to replace)
Amazon.com: WiFi Car Wireless Backup Camera, GreenYi 5G 720P HD Car License Plate Rear/Front View Reverse Camera for iPhone iPad Android Smart Phones Tablets Which Support Double Band WiFi(2.4Ghz and 5Ghz) : Electronics

Wire it to an aux switch, use the two holes that the lovely dealer screwed in my grill for the license plate bracket I don't need and attach this camera. Use a secondary iphone to connect to it's wifi mounted in my Bulletpoint dash to view. I basically just need something for off-road, so......I'd probably keep my primary phone going for navigation, use this when needed.

Any thoughts?

Worth trying. Using a dedicated phone would be a lot better than switching to camera’s wifi on your phone. I use a different cheap backup camera that came with a display and it works pretty well. I’d go with a larger display if I do it again. If the wifi one works well, you could always pick up a cheap used old ipad mini or android tablet too.

Exactly, that was kinda my thought. And.....it being rather cheap, I'll probably just install it when I need it for off-roading and remove it otherwise. No huge modifications required to my bumper/grill, just use what's there (screw holes for license plate).
