Does anyone have a parts list of what is required to add the ford front camera? I know there are aftermarket options, but I’m specifically interested in the parts required to get it to work. I assume it requires some forscan changes?

The main components:
  • Front camera
  • Rear camera
  • APIM (Sync module)
  • Sync screen
  • IPMB (image processing module)
And then all of the wiring harnesses for it. Last I checked adding the 360 camera system was a $7500 adventure once you got everything added up, but admittedly it's been at least a year since I looked at it. That price also includes the side mirrors cameras and (in theory) you can skip those if you don't mind it being an incomplete setup with some error messages.

It is a shame it is such a high price tag, but just being able to add it to the models that don't have it would be great. Aftermarket solutions are nice, but it doesn't beat having it on that nice 12" screen :)

Does the front camera wire directly to the Apim or does it require another module?

On your vehicle the rear camera is wired directly to the APIM.

The vehicles with the 360 camera system requires the other module. The IPMB is what generates the 360 camera image. It takes 4 separate signals (front camera, rear camera, both side cameras, and combines them into a single signal that gets sent to the APIM. Based on the driving conditions and the camera setting, it'll alter the image that it sends to the APIM.

(Also... it just occurred to me you'll also need a new HVAC module to get the camera button.)

It is a shame it is such a high price tag, but just being able to add it to the models that don't have it would be great. Aftermarket solutions are nice, but it doesn't beat having it on that nice 12" screen :)
It's easier on 2024 and later Broncos, since they all have the 12" screen and digital cameras standard. But @404 has a 2022, so it's effectively a gut-and-replace.

Interesting, so you reckon it would be more of a plug-in (and some ForScan fun) to enable it on a 2024? It may be an interesting project down the line, same with adding a sway bar disconnect, the few missing features on an Everglades.

Oh... ya know… not sure if they used digital or analog cameras on the Everglades. Under the covers Everglades is basically a Black Diamond, but... yeah... no idea what they used. That's a good question.

Anyway, assuming it's digital it's not any more "plug-n-play" to be honest—still a lot of work. But you do save a good chunk of money if you don't have to replace the rear camera or SYNC screen.

What after market system would be suggested? Recently. I made a wrong turn and suddenly the forest road was a boulder waterfall and the only way for my HE was up. I was alone so difficult to choose the line. I made it up and going downhill was easier.
I was looking on some Wireless Magnetic Backup Cameras on Amazon
https://www.amazon.com/Magnetic-Solar-Wireless-Backup-Camera/dp/B0CT2FQXN6
to use it to position the Bronco to the trailer (with spare on), or for occasional front camera use.

Unfortunately I assumed the Badlands would get the front camera, since my Bronco Sport Badlands came with the front camera. Thats what happens when you assume.

It's not the model but the trim level.

You need the luxe package. I didn't realize this when I ordered it. I assumed since my BS BL came with the camera that the full size BL would come with it.

Assume nothing when dealing with an auto manufacturer.

Which is why I almost lost my Sasquatch package on re-order number n. And why some people missed out on the modular bumper.

Do you have any part number by chance? I have a raptor and i pinched my front camera wire this week. (the car side of course) i assume i can run a new wire from the grill to the module under the dash ( if i can find that lol)
