Alexa Streaming issues

With the OTA update that added full screen car play and Amazon Alexa I’m struggling to get the Amazon streaming services to work.

Alexa keeps telling me I need connected vehicle services. Which I have- unlimited Data plan that runs as a vehicle hot spot with no issues.

has anyone figured out how to stream through Alexa? I figure I’m missing a setting or something but I can’t find it.
