Little flags

I got this. Did a 5 mile drive to store 34 to 40 mph. Flag is already fraying.
mine too 🙄. That’s why they’re so cheap. It’s basically a parade flag.🇺🇸

I ordered a motorcycle flag as a replacement. We’ll see how it holds up.
Of course i was doing 65mph. 😂

You guys weren't scouts I assume;

When displaying the American flag on a vehicle, you should keep your speed to parade speeds of 5 to 10 mph. Driving at higher highway speeds (50 to 70+ mph) creates wind force that rapidly frays, tears, or shreds the fabric, which violates proper U.S. flag etiquette. [1, 2, 3]
The U.S. Flag Code dictates that a vehicle-mounted flag should be treated with the utmost respect. If you choose to display one, make sure to follow these best practices to prevent the flag from becoming tattered: [1, 2]
  • Keep It Below 10 MPH: Standard auto flags and even heavy-duty mounted flags are not built to withstand speeds on open roads or expressways. The speed of the wind acting on the flag is your vehicle's speed plus any headwind. [1, 2]
  • Remove During Highway Travel: Take down or secure the flag when driving on highways or at high speeds to prevent it from tattering or becoming a road hazard. [1, 2, 3, 4]
