I have icon tubular ucas with eibach coilovers temporarily and am having a slight rubbing on the coilover spring on the front. I’m not sure how to resolve the issue as the lift isn’t even maxed on the front and should only net 2.5” maybe over sas height. I do have heavier springs on but not sure how to resolve? Any ideas that don’t involve changing either coilovers or uca. This is the first time I’d wheeled with them hard which is when I got the rubbing as normal driving didn’t cause issues. I’m guessing when full drooped on rocks etc.

First I've heard of the Eibach 2.0s spring rubbing the UCA. I have no issue w/ the standard springs. Are they Eibach HD springs or another brand?

I have the hd springs on the coilovers. They didn’t rub in daily driving. But just got back from wheeling and saw the slight mark where they had rubbed. I assume from full droop and flexing.

Hmmm, most likely from full droop...the Eibachs extend a bit more than the OEMs. I wonder if the HD springs are larger diameter than the standard duty? Are you running the OEM UCAs or aftermarket?

They didn’t appear to be any different in diameter. Icon tubular uca, but others also run this but don’t have any issues. It’s very odd.

I'm running the same setup so yes, odd. If it's rubbing bad different UCAs may be the easiest solution vs. replacing the coil overs. Maybe hit up Eibach for suggestions.

I just figured out I’m netting 3.1” of lift in the front from the hd springs and the current coilover adjustment and am wondering if that’s what causing the issue if I lowered the coil over maybe it could resolve? I’m going to have to contact eibach.

That could be contributing for sure. Lowering should alleviate the rub but doubt it will eliminate it altogether unless you can limit droop.

Any idea what lift you have with your setup on the front? I also have 37's, so I don't want to lower it too much.

I'm about 2 1/4" on the standard springs. That's all I could get w/ my heavy ass winch bumper and winch.
