Absolutely. I have short legs (30" inseam) and the door armrest in my Bronco, Excursion and wife's MDX all hit right on the knee. A hand towel swiped from the Hilton seems to work perfectly to provide enough cushion.

Yes. I assume you have long legs/are tall and manspread a bit in the cockpit ( ). I have a slotted callous on my left knee where it rubs and on long trips I drape a cloth over the handle. Wouldn't mind if someone created a nice quilted thing that was on there permanently.
OMG, me too! lol

Yes it is. My best friend in high school drove one of those (it was his Mom's). Solid AF.
I drove this '76 Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Regency Limited in high school. 455CID, 4-barrel, white leather. We called The 747. 3 kegs fit in the trunk with room to spare. I used to air up the rear shocks, take the wheel skirts off, and go off-road.

No problem there but my elbow does not like the hard plastic on the console lid…
Mine doesn’t like the thread's on my console lid. They are kinda sharp... strange I know.

I do not have the issue with the door handle and my leg, maybe mine being a manual keeps me closer to the wheel. I am over 6' too.

I've always felt the handle was too far forward on the 2 door, it is not centralized in the door and when you close the door, you are pulling too close to the hinges. I'm sure its fine on the 4 door.

Love the hubcaps on that thing.

Love the '747'. When we would gun my friend's cutlass we joked that it sounded like a jet taking off.

Our family had a ‘70 Buick Electra. 455. I’d flip the air filter lid upside down to hear the quadrajet moan. That thing would twist the speedometer all the way around past 120 to the R on the PRND indicator. My little brother ratted me out on that one lol. (It had air shocks too)

Not a fair assessment, but that handle doesn't bother me with the doors off!
Now, I wouldn't go on 3200 miles road trip with no doors, that's a fact! :)
