Anyone care to help a gal out?! Underseat Powered Sub Install/Powered Seats

2023 Outer Banks 4DR Lux/Sas Package


Total noob here when it comes to audio and I know this topic has been discussed a few times, but I haven’t had any luck finding a thread with pictures or details on how to fit a powered sub underneath the driver/passenger seats? I know mods will need to be made and also have the cross beam to consider with the current wiring for the powered seats. Can anyone help a gal out on how they did their mods with pictures or tips in the same placement? I’m installing the Kicker 11HS8 8 150 Watt Hideaway, thanks in advance!

I used metric threaded rod couplers to raise the seats 1.5" then I had plenty of room for the kicker 10s under the seats...

I installed the small, under-seat Pioneer sub that is designed for hybrid vehicles - it is low powered so easily wires right into fuses under steering wheel. It sits right under my seat on the factory rear rubber floor mat, not attached to anything and stays put fine. There is a write-up on it somewhere on this site. Won’t knock your socks off with bass, but adds the amount of thump to really liven up the sound. Cheap, easy, no modding/drilling anything.

You can also put it under the backseat and avoid the front/passenger seat clearance issues. Here is what I and others did utilizing a JBL Bass Pro Nano. Your Kicker powered sub is likely a bit larger though, but I bet you'd be able to achieve the same results.
