Anyone else notice the cv axles getting rusty…. I’m from Florida no snow lol

I don't think I've seen any Ford CV axle that wasn't rusty. I think it's pretty standard to leave them uncoated.

Unpainted steel rusts, it's not a secret.

Yeah, any axle I've ever bought has been uncoated... Maybe a light sheen of machine oil but that's it.

If it's exposed enough to be noticable, and it bothers you, you could always buff that surface rust off and hit the metal parts with some good primer and paint.

Yeah ford got cheap with undercoating in the past 2 years. 2020 super dutys stopped getting painted front driveshafts. My 2014 raptor had nice looking CVs for 7 years until I had to replace them. The new ones from ford look like trash in 1 year. And I'm sure most of you know about 21 f150 rear axles

As others noted, it’s totally normal but spray some Fluid Film - Rust & Corrosion Protectant on there to keep it under control and less unsightly.

I follow Ford Boss Me on Youtube and he has a couple videos on Blaster Surface Shield. Contemplating coating undercarriage parts on the Bronco and maybe my 2013 F150 4X4.

Also, along with the advice above - you mention you don’t have snow, but you live in Florida. Even inland there’s bound to be salt all over the place due to storms, humidity, ocean spray evaporation etc.
