Hey everyone. Since it's now heading into great top off weather here in CO, I wanted to see if anyone had built any kind of top panel storage in their garage yet? I was thinking more wall mounted than some kind of cart, but it was such a pain making sure I didn't damage the panels after they were off a few times and just laying in the garage, I have to find a better storage option. Figured I would see what everyone else has been doing. Thanks!

Edit...I saw something like this for Jeeps, bit it would stick out too far IMO.

Maybe something like this to support them from the bottom, and then something to hook them in on the top.

Get a soft top and not have to worry about it.

I just put mine (except far back of course) in the bags and hang from $2 j hooks from Home Depot
Yeah, figured that would be a good way for the two front panels and maybe two of the "hooks" I posted earlier for the mid panel to sit on and I'll have to figure out a way to keep the panel from falling forward off the wall. Maybe a rubber bungee cord/strap or something strung between two other j hooks at the top.

Don't the bags for them have handles on them? Just hang them in the bag.

The mid panel bag is about $130 from Skip if I recall. So that is a not too expensive of option. Really nice bag.

May I ask who skip is? And does he have the front panels garage storage bags?

I have a middle top bag on order but in the meantime, I used an old quilt to protect from scratching and put the middle part of the top on top of the main part. Using my Smart Garage Hard Top Lifter, I can lift the hoist with the middle part on top and store the front two parts in the provided net (I don't have them in the net in the pics below but they can be placed there).

Maybe not everyone wants to pay for the Smart Garage Hard Top Lifter but this could also give the DIY crew some ideas.

Having the middle hard top bag should maybe make it look a little neater.
