Stick shift
I have been wanting the same thing. In my super duties, all you have to do is bump the selector and it lights up. Wish there is some kind of combination to turn it on.

Percentage of young people who can drive stick shift would prove your statement false.
I said manual was an option in the kids package, not that the manual was a kids package.
Get the adult package with V6 and there is no manual available.

I have encountered numerous young fellas at Discount Tire, Tint Shop, and several other places that I watch them go get in the truck, sit a minute or two and then get out and take the walk of shame. I always tell them their daddy failed them.

My parents bought new in 1966 a Ford Fairlane GT500 with 390 Hi-Performance and a Top-loader 4speed . Me and my 2 brothers learned to drive in that car. My Mother drove it daily from New in 1966 until 1987 when they got their 1st Taurus Wagon with an automatic. Man times have sure changed.

I taught my daughter to drive a stick shift when she was 15 she still drives a stick shift 6 years later. Wish I could have gotten a 7MT but wasn’t available when my dealer let me order.
As usual, the post goes off the rails to a conversation the O.P. is not interested in.! I too have wanted the gear selection displayed just like all the F series trucks are programmed to do. I have forscan capability but, the forscan gurus cannot/have not figured this out. I would love to watch the 10 speed do its thing when in Auto.
