I went with Armadillo, and yes, they are more than the TOR top, but it is also Aluminum. When I saw Tyler AKA BroncBuster roll the prototype top, and came out OK, that finalized my decision. Looking at the aftermath, there was not a lot of damage done to the top.

Also, I like the way you can take off the panel and have the whole middle open like on the soft top or the OEM. Also, you can lift the Gull Wings off and have the sides open, and you can also take the back off. That's a lot of open air without having to take the entire top off, which is still doable.

With the slant back preparing to go into production, they will then be able to do the square back which will be pretty easy considering how they have things laid out.

Agreed, the other offerings wouldn't have survived that rollover like Armadillo did!

Lots of good information tonight from BroncBuster live. Besides the points of him selling Ford Performance parts, and having the Ford rack for 986$, there was great information on the Armadillo tops.

1. They go into full production next week. They are already laser welding and will be bending and such for the next two weeks.
2. Will start shipping out the orders on a first come first serve, so Pre-Orders will go out first.
3. Accessories are being loaded up.
4. The exterior molle panels did have spacers on them that set them off of the panel. That looks to be a great place to put Roto X or traction boards.

Hoping to have my top by the end of the month, or the first week of April.

Great news indeed.

Thanks for the post. I’ll have to watch the replay in YT.
Was there any update on the Squareback?

Some new information. Armadillo is not shy about their sound/headliners!

Part two of showing the top inside now. That headliner is looking real good.

Sorry for the delay but here’s some pictures I got! The MOLLE panels have spacers or will have spacers to set however far off the bronco you need it

Did Did you get to see how the gull wings are removed? Looks like 4 screws, but hoping it's easier than taking them all out each time.

@TheLawnDart : Thanks for the pics. I almost forgot you were out there with them. The top is looking good. REAL good! Those exterior molle panels are a lot nicer than I thought! I still have my roto x cans and mounts, on the wings may be a good place to put them.

You also can see just how thick the sound/headliner is. Looks like this top will be pretty quiet as well, lol definitely be quieter than my soft top.
